Educational Tools
Dr. Incrapera is a proponent of education and wants you to be an informed partner in your dental care. During your examination, he'll take pictures of your teeth and gums with an intraoral camera, then display them on a chairside monitor. These images, along with short CAESY Patient Education videos, are useful tools to help you decide which therapies are right for you. A preview of your proposed new smile created with our digital imaging software is another valuable decision-making aid.
Dental Laser Therapy
For your comfort, we've replaced invasive tools like dental hooks and drills with lasers. Our DIAGNOdent laser by KaVo identifies early-state tooth decay before it can be seen or felt. Dr. Incrapera also uses lasers to prepare teeth for restoration, treat severe cases of gum disease, remove growths, and perform cosmetic gum lifts. Laser dentistry is safe, efficient, and effective. There's minimal bleeding, faster recovery time, and no need for stitches.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Many people experience dental anxiety. Dr. Incrapera uses oral conscious sedation to relieve fears and promote a calm, positive experience. You'll simply take a sedative prior to your appointment. Once you enter a state of deep relaxation, Dr. Incrapera will perform your dental work, potentially reversing years of damage or neglect in a single visit. Dr. Incrapera may use nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, to enhance sedation. When your sedative wears off, you'll have pleasant memories of your visit with no recollection of your procedures.
